Since 2002, he has led production teams, managed daily operations, and developed products for brands that include Walmart, Coke, McDonald's, Adidas, Adobe, Intel, American Express, Sony, Ford, and Essence. As a Design Lead Mali has a background in creative Director, product design, data analysis and brand managment. He has helped build communities and share brand stories across the web, apps, video, voice, VR, experiential, and commercial advertising campaigns. As a mentor and team led, he has trained, and built digital production teams from the ground up. As a director, he has oversaw multi-million dollar projects and played leading roles in securing, managing, and growing agency budgets. Mali has worked with teams and programs across the U.S., Germany, UK and Ireland to Kenya, Siera Leone, Ghana, and Trinidad.

Mali began his career as a freelance designer for brands that include Scholastic, Lucas Films, Revlon, JP Morgan Chase, and Universal Records. In 2000 he joined Community Connect Inc., as a web designer and helped build three of the largest social networking sites of their time; BlackPlanet.com, AsianAvenue.com, and Migente.com. In 2003, he co-founded the digital design consultancy Pixod, and after decades of launching products and services in the world of design and computer science, Mali is now expanding into the world of brain science and pursing a degree in Neuroscience.

Aside from activities in the design and technology community, Mali is passionate about social change and has worked with nonprofits, NGOs, and community organizations for over 20 years. He is a founding member and STEM mentor with The Brooklyn Combine, a not-for-profit community organization dedicated to mentoring students in underserved communities.
